Don’t forget to turn out the lights when you leave the room. I’ll be “turning out the lights” on my communication for a day or two, likely. We’re moving house after tonight, so I’ll see ya on the flip side.

TROPICAL STORM KYLE IS CURRENTLY SOUTHWEST OF BERMUDA AND IS EXPECTED TO REACH HURRICANE STRENGTH THIS MORNING AS IT MOVES NORTHWARD. KYLE IS FORECAST TO MAKE LANDFALL AS A STRONG TROPICAL STORM NEAR YARMOUTH NOVA SCOTIA SUNDAY OVERNIGHT THEN TRACK JUST EAST OF SAINT JOHN NEW BRUNSWICK EARLY MONDAY MORNING TO REACH ANTICOSTI ISLAND MONDAY EVENING. RAIN ASSOCIATED WITH A NON RELATED FRONTAL SYSTEM OVER THE CAROLINAS WILL AFFECT MOST OF THE PROVINCE TODAY. RAINFALL AMOUNTS IN EXCESS OF 50 MILLIMETRES ARE EXPECTED BY TONIGHT OVER WESTERN NEW BRUNSWICK. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AND WIND WARNINGS COULD POTENTIALLY BE ISSUED AS KYLE REACHES THE SOUTHEASTERN PART OF THE PROVINCE MONDAY MORNING.

That’s my traffic stat for the rss and atom feeds to this site. That’s significant. There are many sites who have ignored this and suffered because of it. Do you think about your feeds? Now, for anyone who does read this site via rss feed (or the 4.17% who use atom), let me know what you think of the presentation in your feed, if you feel like it. You can send me an email (see the link above in the menu bar), or comment on this post (which means that you’ll have to click out of your feed reader). I’ve disabled hotlinking for images, so some feed services won’t show them. Let me know if that bothers you, as well. I just don’t want to enable some bandwidth thief to bother with my images. I want to make them go to the work of saving my images and uploading them to their own hosting, as I have.

That is, again.
The upcoming release of Wordpress, version 2.7, has had some changes in where to find things that you do with your blog from behind. The administration panel is being overhauled again. Things will be moved around to where the developers think they should be.
This time, however, they have put up a poll so that you can give your input in how you’d like to see it. You input might influence the way your admin panel looks. It WILL change, regardless, so do the poll so that the developers have a clue as to which if their visions that you like the most (or dislike the least).
