Another Opinion Among Many

Its off to work I go. Gotta go in to work today, which is the drag of this new job - Saturdays. But its worth it in comparison, for sure. Why not go visit John’s site to see what’s up in the land of the hangover (I’m sure you can call it that today. LOL)

btw, as I write this over a year later, I must say that the 1/2 dozen Saturdays I did work were slow and entertaining.  I got a lot read!

So, now I know everything that I’m supposed to know about everything that I’m supposed to know…

Back in the classroom again today to learn the rest of my job. Its a lot more in depth that it first seemed. This is going to be good, as long as the shifts are okay.

I’m playing around again with layout of the content on my page, so if it looks funky, get over it! And, of course, come back soon, as its temporary.

So, I got through a week at my new job and I can say, “So far so good.”  It seems to be more enjoyable than my other job and I still have this feeling that I will continue to like it.  I know a lot of people at this employer too, so its a help seeing a lot of familiar faces, too.  I just hope that the extra travelling won’t eat into my pocketbook.  Time will tell.

So I turned in my swipe card and headset today at NuComm.  My last tie to the place is gone (except for the final pay, ROE, and next year’s T4 for 1 month’s work).  The first day of training at my new employer was loads of fun.  I think that I’m going to like this job, even though its another call center.  I’m supposed to be helping people this time around.  In fact, the recruiter kind of screwed her face up a bit when she mentioned it wasn’t a sales job.  Just the way she said the word proved her disdain for the term/action.  So, we’ll see…

Today is my last day of work at NuComm. I have decided to move along to an employer that I’ve wanted to work for since they came to the area. We just didn’t see eye to eye until this month, I guess. So, today is the last day that I talk to certain telco customers that are to lazy to read their phone bills before calling the company. Now, I’ll be talking to a different crowd.
