I am so tempted to moderate this one as okay, simply because of what the message said, but I can’t. You see, the comment was off topic! :-D

No way… It is spam ? well… may i trying too :)
and there was a link to a site called “toon porn”

“May I trying too?” Yeah! That’s priceless! He’s saying, “I’m a Spammer. Am I in the ’spammer’s line’?” That’s chutzpah!

Check out this episode of “The Show“, especially the part about ‘product placement’. If you follow at all, then you know that you’re in for a treat.

A short time ago, I wrote that someone was stealing my articles again. I’ve decided to go after this one, as s/he doesn’t seem to want to stop. Before I get into this too much, I want to be clear. What I write here is my opinion. It comes from my head. If I am inspired by others, I try to attribute the work to the rightful owner or creator. I try to ensure that what I use from others gets properly cited, so that its clear what it my work and what is not my work. I hope that I achieve this. If I ever screw up and use someone’s content and don’t properly cite it, I will fix that blunder if it comes to my attention (my email address is in the footer of every page here, along with my copyright notice).

If you want to use my writing as inspiration, by all means do. You’ll see that I don’t really have too many rules with what you do with what I write. The only disclaimer that I try to make apparent is that if you use my stuff, I want you to make sure that people know that its mine and not yours. (pull)Think for yourself. Don’t be lazy.(/pull) If your thoughts strangely coincide or collaborate with mine, then, besides feeling sorry for your mental health, I applaud you for letting the world know what’s on your mind.

With that in mind, I want to introduce you to http://1mlmpro.com/.

This site is a real class act! The content on this site is superb! How do I know? That’s easy!

I wrote some of it!

My article is here. Theirs is here. If you’re silly enough to subscribe to my feed, than you know that there are a few unique words at the beginning of every article. Funny how they are in our friend’s post too. Lazy jerk!
Uncanny. I’ve asked nicely to have the content taken down or attributed properly. A week later, I asked with a bit more legality for them to cease and desist (I don’t think they’re hosted in the US, so I doubt that they will be subject to the DMCA.

So, my next step was to advise one of their advertisers that they were violating the advertiser’s policy by advertising on a site made of stolen content:

Google Adsense complaint: “The content on this page has been completely copied from my site’s RSS feed and passed off as the site owner’s work for the purpose of gaining advertising revenue. Your Program Policy states “No Google ad may be placed on pages published specifically for the purpose of showing ads, whether or not the page content is relevant.”
The page is nearly all advertising and the content is not relavent to anything on the site. This “publisher” has done this with my content before and has not complied with my take down request. You will find that this “publisher’s entire site is comprised of stolen content from Blog RSS feeds by other authors. This webmaster is a fraud.”

I haven’t seen any results yet, after four days, so I supposed that Google is either taking its time, or doesn’t care. The next step is to notify the web host (and their registrar, if it seems to to any good).

So, 1mlmpro.com, if you’re still scraping, I hope that you scape and use this post. Its a good one!

Clean your frosted windshield - image found at http://www.ci.galion.oh.us/photogallery/pdphotos.htmlToday, the frost was quite apparent. On the walk to Caleb’s school, the kids had a lot of fun making foot prints in the frosted grass. They got quite a kick out of it, in fact. Abby especially liked the idea, which is fine with me. If Mother Nature can provide the entertainment, then all is good.

Something else about frost is that it loves to collect in a thick, tough coating on the glass of your vehicle. Now, some folks warm their cars up in the morning to clean off the frostiness. Others diligently scrape. There are those who just don’t do either. These are the ones who, if there’s even a small scraping in their front view, they take off, expecting not to hit anything. These people are risking their lives and those all around them merely because they are too lazy to take a moment and scrape. Perhaps they didn’t have a dollar to get a scraper at the dollar store. Folks, winter’s approaching. Where are your scrapers?

On the walk back, we witnessed this very thing. This was not the day this guy was getting to work early for sure! He stopped dead on the busiest street on the north side to scrape a tiny hole on the inside of the windshield about 3 inches long. Then, he carried on, with no view out the side windows, the back, or the front, to speak of. His bad luck? The car immediately behind him was a police patrol car! Whoops! Sorry about your delay. Sorry about your fine! Not really! You could have taken 90 seconds and scraped enough off your window to be safe and you didn’t. You suck, dood.

Oh, and have a nice day! Don’t forget to stop at the dollar store!

Back to the grind. Its Tuesday, but since the long weekend, this is the first day of the work week. Time to go back for those 9-7 days. Woo hoo. I see that gas was $0.85/l at the taxi stand across the street from work. Maybe I’ll get some on my 1/2 hour lunch. I’d like to get a lottery ticket and be as lucky as that guy in Sydney, who got two hole-in-one’s in one game. Here’s wishin’

Its great, I think! The price of gasoline around here has dropped below $0.90/litre for the first time in a long time (was it before last fall?). After the newly elected Liberal Party dropped the gasoline tax by 3.8 cents per litre, the prices at the pump began to reflect something a bit closer to the way it was. This time last year, I noted that gas was at $1.17, down from $1.41 in September. Currently the prices are between $0.849 and $0.90 per litre, as reported today at various times on New Brunswick Gas Prices dot com.

I hope that this trend continues.

I’ve been reading about a few Wordpress plugins that have been written to combat content theft and have decided to add them to my blog. If you are insane enough to read my writing by RSS feed (insane because its ME - why subscribe to this drivel. LOL) then you’ll notice one difference (actually two) and the other, you’ll see if you ever visit a splog that has stolen my content to make money with.

One is Antileech by Owen Winkler and the other is Digital Fingerprint by Maxpower.
