…on coming up with enough to pay for hosting for another year. If I can’t swing it, you may end up having to see me on my Blogger blog or Wordpress.com

Pay for the domain and I can host it for you. It’s not like you would take up a lot of space anyway. LOL

I don’t get any kind of advertising revenue or the traffic to justify an expensive hosting service, so I might end up going the same route as well at the end of 2010, but the problem is how to get my blog posts and comments transferred there? I’m using a customized blogging platform I wrote myself, so migrating to something like Blogger or WP.com will be a headache and a nuisance.

Well, there’s plenty of time to solve that problem and I might end up writing a simple script, but still…

I’ll happily host you on my hosting account as well if worse comes to worst.

Thanks for the offers, guys. I may have this one in the bag for another year. I’ve unlocked the domain, so I think that later, I’ll have name.com take the registration for it, along with the other domain I have. Then, it’ll be like it was before.

I’ve got to look into some more optimizations, as this site is getting about 7 gigs/month of transfer now. I suspect that a lot of it is spammers trying to get a piece of my pie.
