I’ve been drinking coffee since forever. I’m 48 but most people mistake me for 35. Hello…

Wow! This is so flippity floppity. One day they say it’s good, another they say it’s bad. LOL

I can’t really drink the stuff on the count of my GERD, but one in the morning and another small one later at night while at hell// err. I mean work to keep me going is all I need.

Mac, I had GERD until I did the vinegar trick. I haven’t had a bout of it since 2006.

I’ll stick with tea and the occasional coffee.

@RT Cunningham – I’ve tried the balsamic vinegar thing too. Never did a thing for me. My GERD is so bad I have to actually go to the emergency room once in awhile because it is so painful.

Yesterday I popped 4 Zantac 150’s and nothing. I spent the day in the hospital… What a drag. It was so bad today it actually caused a migraine.

Researchers are finding a lot of positive benefits to drinking coffee lately, though the health benefit issue does seem to go back and forth every few years. It seems as if the positives are starting to outweigh the negatives. The fact is, coffee does have antioxidants and has been linked to preventing cavities, reducing likelihood of Parkinson’s as well as many other benefits. Generally, 1-2 cups a day is regarded as a healthy amount to consume.

@weeklyroast – I’ve maintained a similar position for years. I’ve never fallen for the detractors’ story, as they were always focusing on caffeine, which is only about 2% of coffee.

Oh, and come back and give a mention when you’re able to ship to Canada (especially New Brunswick – screw the rest of them :D )
