What is up with the buzz phrase, “Economic Downturn“? Does it seem less like a recession or depression if we call it some “PC” phrase? My pockets are still empty. A spade is a spade. Call it that!
Jeez! On the news, I just heard that bullshit phrase 4 more times while typing this (extremely short) post. WTF!!!
Economic downturn sounds like something we can get out of if we just make a bit of effort and stop slacking. Recession or Depression sounds like the finance people have no idea and really shouldn’t be allowed near sharp objects or other people’s money. That’s why they go for euphemisms!
Well, my friends, are we on the cusp of a great economic depression? We might very well be. In the meantime, as Mike Ruppert says: “Until we change the way money works, we changing nothing!” (Here’s a hint: Steady state versus perpetual growth economy. Do we have a couple of more earths at our disposal that I haven’t been notified about?)
