To my neighbors about an hour’s drive to the south (in the USA), I hope that you exercise your right to vote in your Federal election today.  Go and make a choice so that you have a right to complain about it later!

Amen, Corey. And lets hope that the voter suppression in Indiana, Colorado, and Virginia doesn’t affect the outcome. You weren’t my first choice Obama, but I wish you the best of luck. And I’m sorry to hear about your grandmother passing away yesterday too.

    Peace out.

It’s only 9:38PM Central time but sitting and watching the results come in, I’m surprised how close the race is in Indiana.

But I think now the biggest blow to McCain’s hopes is the prediction that Obama is going to win Ohio. Only one Republican has ever won without winning Ohio and that was Abraham Lincoln.

Watching CNN right now, they’re even reporting that a majority of the advisers in the McCain camp are already saying it’s over for McCain.

So far it even looks like Obama is going to win Florida. If that’s the case, it’s definitely over for McCain.

You can’t see it but there’s a huge grin right now on my face. :)

Theres a huge grin on my face too, Drew! Way to go Obama!! My only disappointment is that the senate didn’t attain a filibuster proof majority with 60 senators which scares the hell out of me. The rethuglican party will do their best to block and obstruct any legislation which will help the middle class.

They got the majority. I kind of go both ways on balance of power. Give too much power to one side and things sometimes get out of hand and they’ll go on some crazy non-stoppable rampages that might actually hurt us more than help us.

Remember, most of the time the Senate and House people don’t even read the bills they pass, they just take whatever Senator or Congressman’s word that it’s cool! ;)

If I were in office passing bills, I’d probably be that freak over in the corner reading it line by line, digesting it and missing the actual vote cause I was too busy trying to learn all the details and think of all possible scenarios it would cause.

Drew, we need you as a congressional person since a true check on the balance of power as prescribed by the constitution is a healthy and good thing. If you ever run, I’m sending a donation your way! :-) It’s time we have the nerds run the US.

So, according to “ill doctrine” its time to give the geek a wedgie, now that he’s President.

I always said once I turn 35 I’m gonna just start writing in my own name for President. ;)

I voted early in case I wasn’t feeling well enough when election day arrived. After seeing the outcome of the election there’s but one thing comes to my mind-
Be careful what you wish for- you just may get it- hee hee.
