I hope that Ike doesn’t do what it looks like that it will do. For those who live in the hurricane’s path in Texas, please consider getting out of Ike’s way. He looks pissed off! For those who don’t live on Texas’ coast, send positive vibes in that direction, if you can.

Yeah, I wish the path stayed on course for Corpus Christi as that would have meant that Austin would have gotten rain. Even as big as Ike was, Austin didn’t get a lick of rain when the weather people predicted 80-90% for that Saturday. I need rain damnit.
Well, my mother lives about 45 minutes north of Houston, she just got her power restored this past Sunday. Luckily her house didn’t get any damage from the winds and rain coming through.
