Here’s what I bought. Its a 2005 Nissan Sentra 1.8 Special Edition. I bought it because of its low mileage (66,000kms) and the fact that its only 3 years old, rather than the alternatives that I’ve looked at, which were 5-7 years old. This is the first vehicle that I’ve owned that has an alarm, so I’ll have to remember that. Hopefully, it will meet or exceed the EPA fuel economy ratings of 8.4L/100km(28mpg) city and 6.7L/100km(35mpg) highway. That would be nice.
The air conditioner apparently works, which is good. It has air bags and a fairly decent CD stereo with an aux input for an mp3 player. And, it apparently is safe in a crash.

Thats an awesome car Corey!! Brings back nostalgic memories for me because my first and best car was a 1984 Nissan Sentra that looked brand new (but wasn’t) that I bought for $800.00 and it had 118,000 miles. In all I put in over 60,000 of my own miles in it because when I sold it the odomoter was in the 180,000 range! I’m not planning on buying a car anytime soon but if I do the Nissan Sentra will be on the short list! Happy Canada day everybody!
Image is broken?
@MacBros – Stop using IE!!! AKA, stop using ROGERS!!!
@mrcorey – I went into your directory. (You should place an empty index.php in there BTW), and saw it.

And shame on you for saying such crazy things. IE is a POS why would I want to use that?
I like my Rogers too BTW.
Still don’t know why you’re getting that. Its gotta be something else. Others can see the picture fine. Thanks for the tip, though. I had used an .htaccess file before, but it was deleted, I guess, at one point or other. I’ve chmodded the directory 755, so its not writable anyways (777 when I wanna upload a pic and change it back when done – gotta love ssh access).
@mrcorey – It’s showing now.
…and I did nothing. Try setting your DNS to Verison’s or OpenDNS instead of Rogers if you continue to have page load problems (especially images). BTW, I hope that you liked my car’s pic.
Nice pick.
Looks good and solid.
By the way, we have a Fiat Palio ourselves. Small car, but very comfortable driving.
@hari – I’m liking it so far. everything seems to work as it should, which is nice. I saw a few pictures of your car, hari. Its an awesome car. It looks like an ideal person transport. I am hoping that mine will prove to be a gas miser. So far so good.
Thanks mrcorey. Fiat is still quite popular in India, though not as popular as it once used to be. Ours has a lovely flame red colour which is quite unique from any other shade of red I’ve seen in other brands of cars.
Fiat has a reputation for making stylish cars… I don’t know how the rest of the world perceives Fiat, but I think the overall opinion of informed car lovers in India would be that Fiat beats the hell out of ugly looking tin-cans made by Korean car companies.
Agreed on the Fiat. My dealer took the car in to do the required Provincial inspection and undercoated it with a rust inhibitor. They loaned me a Mazda Protege to get to work with. Although this car had more options, I prefer the Nissan.
waoo it’s a beautiful car
