I’ll be on the road for a few days. I may not be at my computer. This means that I may not write anything. Based on my somewhat infrequent posting pattern this year, it may not be anything that you notice. If you do, it’ll be a nice break from me, won’t it. ![]()

Thanks to all of you for visiting. Six digits! Wow! I didn’t know that you cared. Aww.
Episode 2 of RCAF (Robot Cousin’s Audio Feed) is out. Its been out for a few days, but I forgot to mention it. Jordan is already polishing his presentation. head on over and listen. Check for updates in my sidebar. I’ve added his RSS feed as a widget.
I can’t believe that I haven’t found this site earlier!
Have you ever wanted to learn how to use that new snazzy open source or free software but couldn’t get through the manual (or the manual wasn’t very helpful)?
Perhaps seeing what can be done is a better way for you to learn. You can do just that at a site that I’ve just discovered but has been around for a long time. Check it out! There are over 400 video tutorials there already.
The site? http://showmedo.com/ Sweet!
A few days ago, Lorelle Van Fossen wrote an article for the Blog Herald, entitled Blogging Jobs: How Much Are Bloggers Paid to Blog? Lorelle, in her tireless and complete style, has tabluated and shown how much a blogger has to work to make a decent living at blogging. Its eye opening when you see how many $5 posts you’d have to do to earn a decent annual income. I could see early on that this was not going to be a serious money maker for me, so that is why I didn’t get started in the whole mess with paid posting. Too much work for too little return. I have gotten much more value out of the time I have spent with my family instead of in front of a screen churning out crap that I didn’t mean about a product that I’ve never used.
Read Lorelle’s article. If you take it to heart and choose to be paid to write - what you’re worth - then you can help improve the situation for everyone. 176 words. Hmmm.
In tribute to Ray’s post, I present to you another Cat in a Box.
What is it that makes cats jump in tiny little boxes? Cinnamon jumped into this show box and presently made herself at home there. Shhe even snoozed in it for a while. Wierd.
I’ve upgraded my CMS/Blogging software to the latest stable version, 2.6, which was released last night, a month ahead of schedule. It seems that most everything that I’ve done to upgrade hasn’t broken anything much, so we’ll see how it goes. The Digital Fingerprint plugin just wouldn’t activate, so I guess that’s the end of the old code for me. I’ll have to find a replacement. I’m going to try the ©copy plugin. We’ll see if I like it. I think that its the one most people who’s content comes to my feed reader use.
