That’s often a phrase used in the software industry for a hack done to fix something in the product quickly. It may not be the most elegant solution, but it gets the job done.
This is the result of a 10 minute rainstorm outside my place. Its the first time that weather knocked out my sattelite TV signal. That branch is probably about 8-10 cm at the base.

Yeah, my three fans aren’t providing much relief
I got stuck walking parallel to woodstock road on the trails and was completely drenched! My shoes are still drying out as we speak (luckily I have another pair of sneakers in the meantime) At least I didn’t get struck by lightning but I took out my negative energy on a poor tree by shredding one of its branches from its leaves. I’m such a nature bully when I get stuck in windy rainshowers!
