I was in the midst of composing an email to you (which I will likely still finish and send).I don't think that you are any luckier than otherwise. I agree that Akismet seems to stop almost all of it. I've had a few lately that are creeping through, but they are the same ones that are plaguing other sites as well. We'll thwart them yet. The nice thing about using SSF is that I don't have to check through the Akismet queue for what's SPAM and what's not. I've just tested SSF with Lynx to see if it would allow me to pass in a text browser with certain banned SPAM words. Indeed, it did allow me. The difference is a link instead of a button. That's good news. The humans can get through.
