This is a test post in Lynx to prove a point to myself that I didn't before. A keyword, such as site or comment or cialis or viagra or paris or hilton or spears should trigger SSF. Let's see what happens to those stuck in a screen reader.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('3551','corey','This is a test post in Lynx to prove a point to myself that I didn\'t before.
Its nice to see your appearance, James! I was in the midst of composing an email to you (which I will likely still finish and send).I don't think that you are any luckier than otherwise. I agree that Akismet seems to stop almost all of it. I've had a few lately that are creeping through, but they are the same ones that are plaguing other sites as well. We'll thwart them yet.

The nice thing about using SSF is that I don't have to check through the Akismet queue for what's SPAM and what's not. I've just tested SSF with Lynx to see if it would allow me to pass in a text browser with certain banned SPAM words. Indeed, it did allow me. The difference is a link instead of a button. That's good news. The humans can get through. Good.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('3550','mrcorey','Its nice to see your appearance, James!
I have never been able to understand why somany people have problems with SPAM, when Akismet is activated.

I have found on the many sites I have administered, mine and others, that once Akismet is on - SPAM grinds to a halt.

It could be that I am just lucky but it is still odd to say the least.
Reply - Quote
