Is Ubuntu worth it? I only ask because I’m considering two options: building a new computer, or buying a new laptop (probably a Mac Airbook). I wondered if, for the work I do – dreamweaver/photoshop, which one would be better? I suppose I could get a decent laptop and install Ubuntu on instead of the new computer…

If you want to use that software, you’ll have to use Windows or Mac. If you get the Air, get a USB hub, too, as there’s only one port.
