As anybody who’s bored enough to read even my blog knows, I am no stranger to software testing. I’m no programming genius (that would be Lloyd, Westi, Matt, Linus, Devin, and others) at all, but I know how to find a bugzilla or bug reporting tool, and I do my best. I’ve not alpha or beta tested Wordpress since 2.3 was released, as I’ve been concentrating more on Ubuntu lately (and there are some really nice touches that Hardy Heron is going to present to the world, very nice).
I’ve remained subscribed to the WP-testers mailing list, though, and I’ve been reading every post. It looks like Wordpress is going to be a lot more friendly to the new user and have a lot more power for the power user. I’m not sure if this blog will go through any more trauma or not. I may keep with a stable (older) version until support is stopped. But, I may move another over to 2.5 and see how easy it is to do the hard things. BTW, there’s a lot of good discussion about it on the latest Wordpress Podcast

Would you like to test my new “comic” blogging tool? No setup required, just upload the PHP files, edit the config.php file and upload your images and you’re set.
It’s a lovely idea for a very simple image blogging system. I still haven’t completed it fully - I need to implement an RSS/Atom feed for it (a trivial thing), but it looks quite good at the moment.
I might be interested in that, hari. You may inspire me to try and draw. It may have to be tested as a photolog, though.
It can be used for image blogging. But it’s not the kind that produces thumbnails though.
I’ll be getting 2.5. The screen shots are impressive.
I will upgrade, as I usually do, though I may give it some time to let any problems surface…
Well, it took me forever just to upgrade to 2.2, so I don’t know if I will manage to upgrade right away.
I’m still unsure. My custom CMS is nowhere near completion due to programming and website jobs, so I might upgrade just for security purposes.

I just noticed. I will download from home (I’m at work right now and removable data access is denied to non-root so I cannot save it to a thumb drive).
No Wordpress for me, I don’t even use it!
Perhaps I’ll use LiteDoodle for blogging and make all my posts in Gimp! Mwahaha.
