…for NOT drinking the purple juice with the others! For a minute, I thought that even Simon Cowell was going to say nice things about David Archeletta’s performance tonight. I’m so glad that he chose to reveal the truth. Wow! What a boring song to choose. What an even more boring rendition.
And, what’s wrong with Carly Smithson??? C’mon, girl! You have a great look and a better sound! Why aren’t you opening those pipes up just a tad more? Show us why you should be the next American Idol!!!
But, watch out, sister! David Cook is putting up the stiff on the competition front! Ole MJ, the original pervo, didn’t sing his own song that well! Phenomonal arrangement.
I think it’s going to be between David Cook and Michael Johns that take the Idol Title.
I normally don’t watch this show, but there are some talented contestants this time, finally.
Although David Archeletta is good, I think it’s more of a popularity thing with him. He is no way better than the other David and Michael.
Michael Johns needs to show some range and versatility NOW!
All these “reality” shows suck anyway
You should read “Chart Throb” by Ben Elton. It’s a comedy/satire book set around one of these types of shows and gives an insight into the thinking. No major revelations, but it’s nice to have “what you really know” confirmed by a third party
I just might give it a read. Somehow, I have a vision of a seal clapping his flippers…
The only reality shows I watch is “Kitchen Nightmares”, “Hell’s Kitchen” and “Amazing Race”. Wife mostly likes Amazing Race so I’ll watch it with her. Other than that, I’d rather be doing something else than watching reality shows, they’re not real enough for me!
I watch Chef Ramsey cause well, it’s hilarious watching him call the morons names.
The only thing good about American Idol is that Simon is honest and truthful. Paula is fake, likes everyone and can’t say anything negative and Randy quite honestly probably doesn’t know what he’s doing. The only real judge up there is Simon, then people vote for the person who shouldn’t win.
