If a picture is worth 1000 words, then here are 2000.  Finally, it looks like the Canada that the rest of the world sees us as:

Feb 27 Snow

This was yesterday.

Feb 28 Snow

That’s out my window this morning.  We got another 10cm or so.

More, but not worthy of another post:

This would be what Macbros had referred to on his site.

    Yep, you’re about right there.

That’s how we see Canada :) Snow, and lots of it!

I think we could use another 5 feet of the crap! What do you think Corey?
I mean really now, we’ve got this much white crap now, what’s another few feet huh?

And more is on the way too actually. :(

Why the hell not! I can’t see around the corners at the intersections as it is from the huge snowbanks. Bring it on. Will we even notice the difference at this point?

That first picture is a great representation of reality. Many people in a warmer climate imagine snow as a pretty thing with little kids playing in it. In reality, it means slushy road, long drives and when the plow goes by it makes the bottom of your driveway hard to shovel.

I don’t know about you, but down by Toronto we’ve had a few weeks off from snowfall, so it’s coming back for what hopefully is its last coming.

Your few weeks, was two days of slight warmth for us, Connor. It seems that this year was the one to dump the snow on the Maritimes. This is what the winters were like every year after I moved to New Brunswick until 3 or 4 years ago. When I watch the news on the Toronto or Ottawa stations (when I miss the Halifax or Moncton one), our snow and the bitter cold to the West seem to dominate. I guess that means that there aren’t any violent crimes to report. That’s a good thing. Ironically, those pictures were taken after about 3 feet of snow melted off in the thaw we had near the end of January.

Where I come from - that much snow would mean a Snow Day, for sure.

That’s why we would get excited about it, I think. These days the most we see is a few flakes then it goes back to cold winds and the endless, unceasing, rain (ok, maybe not that bad).

I have to walk next door to pick up some Keiths. I’m not looking forward to walking through this crap.

Hmm, the news here always has some violent crimes to be reporting, so I guess the weather takes a back seat to the likes of rape and murder. Who would’ve thought? I’d rather hear about the weather anyway.

I’m hoping we’re done with winter and the whole nice weather/golf/baseball/track season can begin.

I don’t know where you are in releation to the ocean, but Toronto is really far away. That probably contributes to the lesser dumpings of the white stuff.

We’re pretty close. If I got on the highway and headed east, I’d reach the Bay of Fundy in about an hour.

Your pictures of ‘Behind Our Building’ and ‘Another Of The Trees’ are very beautiful - very picturesque. (:
