This storm packed quite a wallop. I had a chance today, since I didn't have other plans, to get my pair of snow tires dug out of the snow and I took them down to Charlie's (take your tire business there, folks! He's good people!) and got them swapped onto the right rims. Then I took a drive out to Geary and waded through waste deep snow to the other two tires and the corresponding rims and dug them out. I then took them back to Charlie's and got them swapped. So, now I have 4 good snow tires on the car (the front ones are studded) and it sounds like a tank when I drive it. But, when I take off, I take off and when I turn, I turn. It'll be a safer trip this way. As a co-worker of mine from years ago said (her name is Lisa), "Everything happens for a reason."
