In July, I wrote about reading a Wired article on Hans Reiser and the sensation around his arrest for murdering his estranged wife (who is quite possibly alive).  The trial is going on now.  It appears that only the San Francisco Chronicle seems to be interested at this point.  I wonder whether it will again become world news if Nina Reiser is found to be alive.

Thanks, person who didn’t leave a valid email address or name. Thanks for the links. I had to, in all good conscience, edit the comment to come from me, “name at sys dot com” is surely not your email. If you want to have a back link or credit for your own comment, please email me to straighten this out.

    Good links, though.

From what I’ve read I think he’s guilty. I feel sorry for the children though. Even if he didn’t do it and she did run off, a loving mother usually will never leave her children behind. There’s no doubt she didn’t care for her children, so that alone gives me the feeling that Hans Reiser did something to her, especially with the sketchy stories the children have told and it changing. A child is easily manipulated to say anything.
