I would prefer “14 readers why *I* unsubscribe from your blog”. Assuming that all readers have the same view on the subject is a bit off in my opinion. It’s a personal opinion, after all…
Yes, I can understand that tack. It would make it a bit more personal. She was likely writing as an article more than a post.
