I’d like to apologise to my 3 readers for this site not being available today.  I still haven’t gotten an answer yet from DSTInternet, my host, as to why the outage, but I’m on it, as I don’t want it to be my site that is responsible for the take down of the whole server.  I sure hope that the few outages that I’ve experienced are the end of it, as I don’t like moving to a new host.  Of course, I paid for a year, as well, so there is that aspect of things too.  So far, until this longer outage, they’ve been great when I’ve had questions.  Lets hope that they pull through.

Hint, guys: if you can solve this one, there might be a decent review for your service from a well ranked site…

Ha, one reason could lay within my latest post on Host Monster Catch 22 post. And your host server crashing…

Didn’t really crash, as much as stop accepting connections. Its the Web server that went out, as I could still FTP into the site fine.

Right. When the site goes down, you can still FTP to it. Two different protocols. When I was getting that CPU Exceeded error – I could still FTP .

Heh. Your blog is making the word FTP a link. It thinks it’s an FTP call. Heh.

DSTInternet doesn’t exist anymore, they just suddenly disappeared, good thing you ran far away, and fast.

I see that they seem to have pulled the plug. I guess that’s why they didn’t answer my ticket asking them to stop my hosting and send me an email confirming it.
