Tagged and Bagged: Work
I don’t know what it is, but I can’t seem to get motivated to stay concentrated with work lately. Its not really that anybody would know the difference, but I seem to have this urgency to get away. Perhaps its just time for a vacation. Perhaps its because I have a week scheduled for vacation in about a month and I can’t wait for it.
Perhaps its because I am dirt poor and could lose what’s left at a whim of some “power that be”. Perhaps its because my car died after I sunk too much into it. Perhaps its because I’m just stressed.
Perhaps its because I’m JUST TIRED OF ANSWERING THE SAME 3 QUESTIONS! If you can read the total on your bill, why not read the REST OF IT!!!!!!
There. I feel better. Time for some Ray…
Oh, yes. I feel your pain!
Oh man I love Ray. I was humming that tune at work about a month ago and I need to start up again because there are 2 people at my job who make life really stressful by freaking out when things get busy and hectic at the job. I believe Macbros commented on this not long ago about the food service industry. The yelling and bad treatment when stressful moments occur. It’s just the nature of the beast.
I think telemarketing work can be mind numbing due to the constant repetition. I had a friend at work who didn’t like it despite having worked at Canada Post for $20/hour! For myself, I need a vaction as well but am also bald and have no hair follicles left to rip out!
yes! Hell yes! Thank you for venting for me! hehe
We all have days like that. Or at least we used to (hint).
One of these days…
I was singing that song all day today, while looking devilish at certain people.

You should try working as a security guard and dealing with arrogant, stupid rich people. Ahh…patience is a virtue.
I’ve been wondering if there’s something wrong in how I’m trying to get rich. I think its the fact that I’m not arrogant and stupid enough!
The secret in getting rich is in being brazen enough to pull something big off. I have had some experience in that department, and thanks to an investment in Scotties, I have experienced modest returns.
Having a shrewd, rapacious mind-set that never stops, is the best avenue for success. It will lead one to mammon, regardless of the conduit.
Personally I prefer hedonism and intellectual stimulation to a large bank account, but I should start thinking about where I will be spending my golden years–so should Conrad Black!
