So, as warned on Macbros Place, we had a bit of a snowstorm on Friday. It wasn’t the biggest and baddest that we’ve had, but, with the wind, the snow was coming down in a near-horizontal path. The visibility was poor during snowfall. Driving was also dicey and better put off until later.
However, when it was all over, it was mild and clear. The snow accumulated throughout the night, to the degree that I had to push hard to get our door open (it was up about 20cm above the bottom of the door) on Saturday morning. So, today, Sunday, the temperature is still around the freezing mark. As far as I can tell, overnight it hasn’t dipped below freezing and its still around 0°C right now and destined to go up a few degrees. There’s a pretty big puddle at the end of our driveway that’s going to be really good for sliding on if the temperature goes down.
So, I’m getting mixed signals. Is it “in like a lion” or “in like a lamb?”
I would answer your question, but I have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about. And those foreign terms (cm, C)… I have to bring up my power toy and convert just so I know what they mean.
Right now, I wish I had your weather, if only for a day.
Sorry, RT. I didn’t realize that there’s no dotted line under my “abbr” tags. With things like weights and measures, I usually throw in the conversion in an “abbr” html tag, so that you can mouse over it and see the equivalent. I’ll have to hack my code to show it more explicitly.
And, 20cm is about 8in; 0°C is 32°F
Also 32°F is 273.15°K and 491.67°R
And 20cm is also 566.93pt 47.25pi and is actually 7.87in, 0.66ft, 0.22yd, 2011680000Å, 201168µm, 200mm, and 0.2m
Leave it to Mac to complicate a complicated issue.
