Amazingly enough, the traffic collisions here are very rare and very minor when they do occur. The driving speeds in the city never exceed 24 mph/40 kph. There’s just too much traffic to go any faster. The roads weren’t designed to handle the traffic we have now and there’s no way to expand them.

The fastest speed I’ve seen here is 62 mph/100 kph and that’s on the Northern Luzon Expressway.
