So, for the last week this is what its looked like outside my apartment building around 8am onward until about 9am.

So, this is what its like, all of a sudden, to get to and across the bridge in the mornings since the students came back to UNB. Who says that students don’t have an effect on a community. My drive to work went from 8 minutes to 30. That’s a lot of extra people to add to the local economy, now, isn’t it?
Guess you didn’t know about that when you first decided to move their, eh?
I didn’t realize that our street would be so busy, for sure. I got used to the pace out of town, as well, so this whole thing about having neighbors is hard to get used to again, for sure.
I remember living on the North Side, and having to leave an hour earlier than usual to get to work at the Dip.
They really need to rebuild that old bridge, ya’ think!?
I definetly sympathize with you! Having students back makes an immediate difference in my life as well given that pizza orders go through the roof when the students return and our manager “forgot” to hire more employees to take this fact into account! On the lighter side, while late at night, a group of college-age boys throuh an egg at me at 11:00 pm while walking. Now I can’t prove that they were students but this is a typical student thing to do and it just happened to coincide with the start of fall! hahaah Oh well.
On an unrelated note, the provincial election is in three days! Get ready to vote!
