After seeing so many of Skye’s pretty photos on her blog, I decided to finally scan a photo that I took many years ago that I’m proud of being able to capture. It was taken with an “old school” Pentax K-1000 with 400ASA film and the stock lens.

Cool shot! Neat how there’s that one streak of light in the middle.
We don’t have too many spectacular sunsets here, and when we do, my camera is nowhere to be found, of course. This is the best time of year for them, so I’ll have to remedy that.
Yesterday morning was a photo perfect morning too.
The fog was thick and with the sun filtered out gave the surrounding around the river an erie look, but also a kewel one.
I went down to the river to get a shot along it, and when I went to power up the camera, all I got was a ‘beep-beep’ sound telling me my batteries were dead. DOUGH!
I left it on when I was x-fering the pictures to the computer the other day.
