I used to do this too. But once I’ve got rid of BadBehavior and put this on. It’s working like a charm. You may wat to try akismet, it works pretty damn good. A week and it caught 652 of them already.
This is the only one that slips through. I don’t even know why. I know that his host in the Ukraine will probably allow him to continue.
Thanks for the suggestion of Askismet, but I think that I’ll stick with BB and try the version 2 alpha. I don’t like the idea of relying on a list maintained on a site somewhere else that has to load before my page. I’d rather have a more native solution (forgive me for not trusting the uptime of the Wordpress.com server).

That’s funny.Nah, after 53 attempts that got through one filter, I got a bit frustrated, is all. I’ve reported this one to his ISP and they ignore me. This one’s been getting away with it for nearly 2 months from the same IP address. Imagine how many thousands of blogs that have been bombed by this creep.
