Well, thanks to my friend Matt, I am the proud owner of a Sun Ultrasparc 5 with a 360mhz processor and 128 mb of ram. This’ll be interesting to play with. Any guesses as to what operating system ends up on it?

Windows Vista?
HA HA HA! Now you’re tempting me! Somehow I bet that the big evil from Redmond won’t be supporting the RISC architecture. It’d be interesting to port, though (if I knew anything about that). I’ve not used Solaris before, so I might try and see what kind of rattlesnake that is to wrestle with for a bit. But, I can see Gentoo or FreeBSD ending up on it…BeOS? Hmmm.
