@Solveig: First, thanks for commenting (sorry about the moderation). I've been following Ubuntu on and off since its beginning, as I want to know what I can recommend to newbies. I still prefer KDE to Gnome by quite a bit because of the way a few of the tools work, but this thing is impressive. It even found the printer part of my multifuncion (Epson Stylus CX1500, quite new), as it had the latest Gutenprint driver installed. I'm going to add a few non-free repositories to the sources list, though, as I'm used to trying the latest and greatest from everywhere, regardless of the freedom of the licence (Gentoo ~x86, at heart). This is the first time in a while that the driver worked for my Logitec Webcam Messenger, as well. Usually, its been hard to get it working, but, after the first google search, I found a site (quickly) that had easy instructions. Unpack. Install kernel-headers and compiler tools (as a package with Ubuntu - I'll find the site and link to it for others who need it - later). sudo make install. Done. Webcam. Color's still not the best with this cheap cam, though.

@Macbros: I had to take the code down temporarily, as it was slowing the site down too much.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('836','Corey','@Solveig: First, thanks for commenting (sorry about the moderation).
