Dennis Quaid and Rene Russo play the happy couple and they do admirably. A warning ahead of time. This movie is a family movie. Although some elitist critics may think that this movie is a bad remake, I haven’t seen the original with Henry Fonda and Lucille Ball, so I can neither agree nor disagree with them. I don’t care what they said. I saw this movie today and I thought it was a really good family movie. It entertained me. It made me feel the way that a decent family movie should. Its top shelf in my book. Watch it.
