I remember the geek test that Richard linked to a few weeks ago. I took it and came out quite the geek. Now I have to redo the test, as I have to change one of my answers. And, by the virtue of thinking this way, another as well. LOL.

Actually, I’ve secured mrcorey.com, which was my first choice all along, to go in the stable with coreythompson.com and itscorey.com. I don’t know what to do with more than one, but I think that perhaps a few “301″s might be in order down the road. You geeks will know what I mean

How’s that DNS resolution on that URL? I parked it as an “addon” and redirected it to a subdirectory at XMGFree. It was immediate. Folks, if you want to secure a domain name and want to pay cheap, go to http://dnbuy.com and get one. They will accept just about any kind of payment and the names are just $8.97/year (in case you wonder why I can afford three). They have 6 DNS servers across North America, so your name propagates quickly on this continent, for sure.

I think the reason it’s cheap is because it’s not your’s actually. You can use it till somebody buys it from the registar that rented to the company you payd to have it.
That’s what I was told anyway, but I may be wrong.

MAcbros opens big fat wallet and goes to internic.com to purchase domain.. hmmmm mrcorey.com seems like a good one to steal away from the renters. LOL

/:) Mmmm. I wonder how much your reseller would be willing to give it up for? Go to networksolutions.com and read up my friend…

    and:

    http://www.networksolutions.com/domain-name-registration/domain-name-search-results.jhtml;jsessionid=I5DWSUENMIFRYCWMEAPSFFA?_requestid=38900

Are you gonna pay them $19USD to make me, the registered owner, an offer between $100 and $10000?(their terms)

You’ll also notice that a “whois” lookup will show that there is a “registrar-lock” on the account so it can’t be stolen by a reseller, so to speak. :P
