Shortly ago, I was playing with a few themes, referred to here. I’ve since learned about what Shadow’s theme is based on. They’ve modified iRoybots Slatystain, a beautiful theme with provisions for a photoblog. And the wheels start turning…

I’ll be doing something like that, but I think that I’ll write it from the ground up when I do another theme (well, a lot of copy/paste of the WP php calls). Too late for a Christmas theme, I think, but winter…(can you say fixed background image? IE die! - er, Opera barfs on those too.
