In an earlier post, I expressed my opinion of Piccaroons beer. Although its a local brew, I didn’t find it tasty enough to root for the home team (although many seem to be almost in love with the stuff). Well, I had the pleasure (I guess) to also taste another local offering (brewed by the same company): Simeon Jones River Valley Ale. Its perhapsthe best of their stuff that I’ve tasted, but its no great shakes. And, for $3.45CDN for a 500ml bottle (4.5% alc/vol), its notm worth a second bottle to me.
