I watched Herbie-Fully Loaded this weekend. This was an ok movie. It fit well with its predecessors. Its a typical Herbie movie with a few far-fetched car ideas. But, don’t expect great dramatic performances from Lindsay Lohan. You won’t find them in this movie. If you let your imagination take over, then you’ll probably get caught up in the movie and feel the same way you did when you watched older Herbie movies. Or, you’ll stop and think what a selfish little brat that car is and root for the junkyard owner and want ole 53 crushed!
To top off corny movie weekend, I watched Kicking and Screaming. This movie was entertaining as well and is an equally good choice for family fun, but be prepared for some serious corn. This movie follows the formula well too.
If you have to take your kids to either movie, try to get the cheaper matinée. Or, better yet, wait until it comes to video. I give both movies a strong “two thumbs sideways”.
Herbie is on my list of things to watch too.
Kicking and Screaming with Will Farrell was pretty funny too. Will Farell is always awsome in any movie, he’s just that funny.
Another film I can’t wait to see is War of the Worlds with Tom Cruse and Land of the Dead is another flick to be watched soon, and Johnny Dept’s new one Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Is it true that what’s her name in Herbie had her boobs digitally reduced by Disney?

You may be right! I hadn’t really thought about it, as she’s not got them bursting out the top of her shirt, like when she’s not under contract by Disney. I just hope that her acting improves…
