Well, my beautiful angel, Abigail, had a super tantrum tonight. I had the kids outside and she didn’t want to come in. I could tell that she was tired, but I was hoping that she would co-operate. No dice. I had to carry her screaming in the house (it was bed time anyways, though). She wouldn’t undress, so I had to do that for her, while she screamed her head off. She kicked and hollered at the top of her lungs while I changed her diaper (those of you who have young children know about the kicking and screaming and how to pin them down so you’ll survive). At least she leaves the diaper on now. When she was really young, she’d take it off. We had to duct tape it on so she wouldn’t be starkers (the cleanup on a scene like that is horrible). Finally got her jammies on and she decided that she wanted to do it herself, which meant stripping and dressing again. KIDS! Ah well, she fell asleep instantly and now its quiet……too quiet! Of course, a nice side effect of her screaming is that Caleb is super well behaved…
