So, I just finished watching tonight’s Law and Order SVU (“Intoxicated”) and, I must say, I got choked up at end. Not only is Mariska Hargitay physically pleasing, she is also a damn good actrice. When the show first aired, I was turned off by the graphic nature. I’m not a big fan of rape or anything that goes with it, but, as any good voyeur, I got used to the show (I think that toning down the scenes helped, though) and find it facinating now. Perhaps it will affect our culture in North America so much that these behaviors will perish in time. One can always hope!
