I spent some time tonight renovating the index page of my “site with content” over at xmgfree. It looks quite a bit different. I added a new header and I’d love to hear what “the world” thinks about it, as I want the perfect page, of course. Is it cleaner? Messier? The ads intrusive? (for that matter, are they intrusive here – if not, click on them and make me rich!) The fonts a good color? Does it make you want to click on and explore the rest? What’s missing?
On another topic, I recently aquired a cd from the band Obsidian Reign. These guys are a great local metal band. Its hard for me to compare their style, but I’d say that if you infused Pantera, Metallica, and Megadeth, you’d get an idea of what they’re about – sort of. Its nice to get the cd from the band singer and havehim thank you for supporting the band. hell, they’re good. Why wouldn’t I? I have no problem forking over my cash if it goes straight to the hands of the artist. Unfortunately, in today’s “climate”, you can only asure yourself of that if you hand it over personally. Why not head over to their website and check them out. They have some downloads available and if you have broadband access, you can download video footage (one file is 40mb) of an entire song, shot in a local bar.
