It’s strange that some laser manufacturers are happy to manufacture laser cutting machines with minimal safety in place. In some instances the laser beam has the ability to bounce outside of the enclosure. This, obviously, could cause serious damage!
You will also now find that laser manufacturers are recommending operators wear sunglass type protection when operating all lasers. It’s unusual that the laser industry has been quite slow in following the safety lead of other organisations.
