So much for the long stint at Cendant. I found out on Saturday that I was able to work for NuComm . Looks like I’ll be doing technical support instead of reserving cars for people. Nothing against Cendant at all. Its a fine company, but its a lot farther away and the pay at NuComm is a bit higher as well. So, now I’ll save about $40/week in gas expenses and make about $60 more. Its hard to turn something like that down. I hope its all I think it is, so that I don’t have to go begging to Cendant or another company anytime soon.
EDIT: Looking back on things now, I see the error of my ways. Thanks for the resume filler, but I didn’t really enjoy the whole experience after all. And, no, John, I’m not going to reopen the comments on this old post. 
The whole family is sick this weekend. I’ve been lucky in a twisted way that I haven’t really noticed the illness as my body clock has been ripped to shreds trying to adjust to the overnight shifts on too little daytime sleep (the kids are some damn loud!!!!). And, now I’m back to early mornings again as I train for a new job (will I ever get back to having health benefits???).
