When I went in to get my ROE from my employer, they didn’t have it prepared for me, as well as my vacation pay. Not only did they hasten my exit from the building, but also they put me in a spot with my landlord. Such is life, I guess. There must be something big and wonderful over the hill waiting for me!

No call back from the bank call center for a third interview. I don’t think that they are going to take this further with me. At least I got an interview with them. Two years ago, I didn’t get that courtesy.

The Dr had reasonably decent news for me. Turns out that my abuse of my body has to stop. Gotta reign in the alcohol, eat more veggies and fruit, and exercise. Sound familiar? All reversible if I start getting back on track now.

An anonymous hotmail user sent me an email critiquing the spelling and grammar of my online resume. It was nice of them to point that out. I fixed the 5 spelling typos and its all wonderful now. I got caught in the same “spellcheck” goof that I abhor. Ironically, it was only the new stuff, but I was condemned for having “numerous spelling and grammar” errors. I appreciate the input.

EDIT: I remember the tone of that email to this day (May 6, 2007).  I don’t know who the anonymous emailer was, but they were malicious and mean.  I am sure that by now, they have gone straight back to hell.

The first post I made referred to how NCO, RMH, and AT&T are terrible. I have to say that I, along with the rest of RMH/NCO’s employees must agree with that. NCO revealed their cold-hearted (wait, YOU NEED A HEART FOR IT TO BE COLD!) ploy to get an extra month’s work out of the outbound employees. They are gone for good. As of the end of Aug, the rest are gone too. The doors are to be closed! A reporter from the local news was interveiwing, but I declined, unsure of how well I could keep my language in check. LOL. What NCO did was cold and evil, but we now have to move on. This obviously increases the cometition for jobs I want. That’s good for the employer but bad for me. I hope one does the wise thing and hires me. I work hard and am loyal. We’ll see.
